An idyllic retreat near Brixen, in the Eisacktal uplands

Surrounded by woodland and meadows, the Hotel Fernblick is situated at 1,100m in the Eisacktal uplands, in the quaint village of St. Leonhard just above Brixen. From its privileged location it commands breath-taking views over the Eisacktal mountains and is a convenient base to reach Brixen a few minutes’ drive away; The Plose skiing and hiking area can be reached in three minutes by car or in winter by ski bus.

Arriving from the north

Exit the A22 motorway at "Brixen Nord/Pustertal", turn right and drive approx. 6 km in the direction of "Brixen Stadt". Always stay on the main road. Arrived at the level of the train station in Brixen, at the large roundabout, take the 3rd exit on the right and follow the signs "Plose/St. Andrä". As soon as you leave the city streets, the provincial road 29 leads for about 8 km in a winding but very wide way to St. Andrä. A few metres before the centre of the village of St. Andrä at the bend, turn left and continue straight ahead over the bridge and follow the signs to "St. Leonhard", where our hotel is located after about 3 kilometres.
