Exploring South Tyrol’s mountains

The St. Leonhard circular trail, starting right in front of our hotel, leads though shady woodland and sunny meadows and offers a stunning panorama featuring the Dolomites, the Zillertal Alps glaciers and bright blue skies. It takes two hours to complete this leisurely hike and get back to Hotel Fernblick. Another tip? Take the lifts to reach Mount Plose, where you can choose from a variety of trails running the gamut from unchallenging meadow walks to exciting climbs up the Gabler, Telegraph or Plose peaks.

Mountain bike tours in the Eisacktal valley

We are the ideal starting point for mountain bike tours on the Plose: Bike to the valley station of the cable car to St. Andrä, let yourself be taken up the mountain - and then bike to the Rossalm, for example. Or do you want to be more adventurous? Then the Plose Single Trail will lead you down into the valley in steep curves. Or experience flows and Whistler feeling on the 4 new lines built in 2018 by the Whistler makers from Gravity Logic? That's pure adrenaline!

Every Thursday night in July and August the historic centre of Brixen comes alive with the Summer Emotions festival. Residents, visitors and live music fill the ancient alleys, while gastronomic stalls offer a variety of local (and not so local) delicacies. Connoisseurs can also look forward to a number of wine-themed events focusing on the finest white wines of the Eisacktal valley.
