At 1,100 metres above sea level, just a few minutes on foot or by bus from the valley station of the Plose cable car, which takes you to the skiing and hiking paradise. Here you will also find a bike, ski and toboggan hire.

Enjoy the precious quietness that surrounds the Fernblick with a view of the Plose, the Dolomites’ peaks of the Geisler, the glaciers of the Stubai and Zillertal Alps and even the Mendel. What a view!

General weather situation

A northwesterly upper-level flow will bring moist Atlantic air towards the northern side of the Alps. South Tyrol will lie in the lee of the Alps and remain slightly favoured.

Sunshine and clouds will alternate. It will be sunniest in the south, with cloud cover prevailing directly on the main Alpine ridge. The fog in the valley of Pustertal will clear up in the morning.

Plenty of sunshine from Wednesday

On Tuesday, conditions will remain variably to mostly cloudy with locally föhn winds. In the north, from the upper Vinschgau through the Wipptal to the Pustertal Valley, light rain is possible during the morning, with the snow line rising above 1800 m. In the southernmost parts of the region, generally fair conditions will prevail. On Wednesday, after the dissipation of local fog patches, mostly bright sunshine and largely cloudless skies are expected. Thursday will again be mostly sunny with spring-like temperatures. No significant change is expected on Friday, with sunshine from morning to evening.
